Will write some stuffRight so around lunchtime on Sunday I moved to Hostel Clan, in the downtown area of Buenos Aires. It was a much bigger and lively place than any hostel I've stayed at so far.. and was full of english people, so it was good to have proper conversations for a change.
I decided to go to a football match that evening, arranged by the hostel so transfer and tickets included, though we spent an hour picking people up from several hostels which kinda sucked. The match was Argentina vs Ecuador and it was a packed out River Plate Stadium, though I never saw a single Ecuador fan. The game itself wasn't anything too spectacular but the atmosphere was amazing, the Argentinians full of pride and I learnt some spanish football chants and joined in with the fans shouting foul words into the pitch. It picked up towards the end, ecuador leading 1-0 with ten minutes to go, dampening the spirits of all the Argentinians, but joy filled the stadium when Argentina scored at literally the last second
The hostel was full of friendly people and the bar was bussling till 2am. Around that time I went to some club with some people called kite or something... not touristy at all which was great, full of locals, and the queue at 3am was really look but we managed to jump somehow.. they played dance music which I dont usually like but actually did this time, i think it was minimalist trance.. was a good night and ended up getting to bed at 8am, we left well early.. I woke up and couldnt get back to sleep at 10am cos people in my dorm were making noise.. so I went back to Palermo to pick up something I left at the previous hostel, and spent the afternoon around Palermo's nice parks and made a few phonecalls.
The night there was some kind of drumming session on that we all went to, it was really really good... it was a live session by a group of percussionists, and the place packed out - a good few hundred people were there - all merrily dancing away to the cool beats with tribal type rhythms.
On Tuesday I took a bike tour which showed me the south part of BA, it was only me and this australian girl with the guide, so I was able to ask lots of questions etc
Tuesday night was spent in a club called Bahrein where they had a drum and bass night.. that was alright, not my usual taste in music but I was with some cool people and i wasn´t in bed till 930am this morning! There was a massive demonstration on today, causing lots of roadblocks and making it big on the news. Now I´m at the airport, heading to my next stop.. Lima, Peru!
I dont really know what I´m doing with this blog, I chat rubbish most of the time, just trying to remember what I´ve done and stuff cos my memory is terrible. I have lots more to say about most of the stuff, I´m just summarising but yeah I appreciate people leaving me comments =D Unfortuneately theres a lack of pics because I didn´t take my camera out much, or didnt take photos cos I didn't want to feel out of place.

. Some good skill was seen by Messi and number 9 whoever that was.. but Ecuador seemed to be the physically stronger and faster side. I also munched on a hotdog type thing which I now love.. called choripan.. tasty fast food! The hostel was full of friendly people and the bar was bussling till 2am. . It was good to bring together those places I´ve explored and learn some cool stuff about the place that I otherwise wouldn't have known. The tour went through San Telmo, La Boca, the ecological reserve, puerto madero and downtown.. four hours in total. La Boca was the best, colourful houses, tango in the street and many artists about.
