DAY 24 - RED SEA / RED SEA TO CAIRO
Here we stayed at Hurghada in a great resort. We got up very early again to head out on the boat. We went on a two level cruise boat with a roof on the top level. We had three stops throughout the day. We snorkled for most of the time, which was awesome. The water was so blue and clear. We snorkled around a few reefs and saw endless types of fish, rays and other creatures. We were jumping off the roof of the boat, which was a bloody long way and heaps of fun. We got lots of photos under water and of us playing on the boat. The water was so salty and was extremely easy to float in. Good for the few that could not swim. It amazes me the number of people around that can not swim. I could not live without the water!! Looking forward to hitting the lake with Bae and Kerto when I get home:) We were also line fishing off the boat for a while. There was so many fish, so it was easy to catch them. Everything you caught was a different type of fish too. I caught a couple and then handed the line over. Corey caught a very big rainbow coloured fish. Some of the others caught a fish that looked like a mini swardfish. This was a great day! Like the day out on the boat in Corfu, it was one of the best days of the trip so far. Anything that involves water and boats is definitely my favorite way to spend time:) After the day of soaking up the sun and relaxing, we headed back to the hotel. Our transit was a normal van that seated about a dozen people and was so run down. Not really the safest form of transport. I had a 5 second dip in the pool, got changed and hoped on the bus for a 7+ hour trip. Unfortunately the infamous Egypt stomach bug kicked in, so I felt ill the whole way. It was the longest trip ever... Once we arrived, I headed straight off to bed. We are leaving early in the morning to the airport to beat the traffic, as Obama is coming to Cairo. Unfortunately our family dog of over 15 years Razz was put down today, which is very sad! I called mum and Greg and had a chat. I am thinking of you guys and wish I could be there. Make sure little Bae doesn't get too lonely. Miss you all! xo
