Pisco Sours...

We were a little scared about entering Peru... all the nightmare stories about theft, muggings and we expected the same craziness as Bolivia.

We were pleasantly suprised.. Tacna is a nice city considering its so close to the border, palm trees line the streets, nice square to relax and the arch was designed by Gustave Eiffel, obviously not as impressive as the Eiffel Tower.

Lots of markets where we stocked up on socks, pirate DVD´s etc...

Then time to eat... unfortunately I found a drink i loved... my liver was beginning to like me again after 2 months of behaving very well.... but this drink is so nice...Pisco Sour... tastes like a frozen margarita... all for €2.....

So far we are happy chickens in Peru... food is good, people are friendly, beautiful weather and scenery... looks like we will be happy in Peru for the next month at least.

5am and we are on a 2 hour  flight to Lima to collect Stephens aunt who is coming travelling with us for 3 weeks.
