And I thought the flavor graveyard was pretty cool...
Then off to see the oldest Vermont family maple syrup place was. Pretty incredible maple syrup. Takes 40 gallons of maple sap to make one gallon of maple syrup!! Pretty interesting how they hook up the trees to get the sap down to the cookery..
And the landscape here.. well hard to capture in photos..
The off to Bar Harbor, Maine. Here we hooked with one of Catherine's best friends Julie. Went through a lobster hatchery. Very interesting. In the photo below, shows the baby lobster. They eat each other so they put them into "baby lobster condos" and larger tanks to keep them from gobbling themselves up..
So the trivia question is.. "Where do you put a 3.5 pound Main Lobster??
In my stomach for safe keeping... Along with some chardonnay.... Just look at the size of its claws compared to my hands! This was a big and delicious one!! Can't wait til dinner....
And for dessert... of course...
And yes... It is real lobster... And taste like it. Anyone want me to send some back to you??
