Currently listening to a Spanish language CD I just bought, clueless as ever. Necesito una intérprete! I think I can translate that sentence, but does una mean it's feminine form and more importantly does the interpreter have long legs?

I'm just back from 10 days in Norway visiting friends and family. I had a very good time, and probably my laziest vacation ever. It felt good to meet everyone, as it's been 13 months or so since last time I went back. The day before I left for Norway I told my manager that I plan to quit to go traveling, and earlier today I resigned officially. He took it very well. I have heard people in similar situations say it was the happiest day in their life when they handed in the notice, but I didn't feel that way. To me it still feels a bit unreal to be honest, but I am sure I'll get more exited the closer we get to departure. My last work day is officially September 30th, but I will take out some more vacation before I leave as I got friends over from Norway and quite a few things to sort out. I hope to leave very early in October, as I have to move out of my apartment on the 30th as well.

Earlier today I went to the travel clinic to sort out the final jabs and medical stuff. So now I only need to decide my first stop in Central America, buy travel insurance and flight tickets, sell my car (somewhere), TV and sofa, ship my remaining stuff to Norway for storage, plus a hundred other smaller tasks. A struggle I think I can live with when you look at the reward. Say no more!
