On our way to New Orleans we stopped at some beautiful places in the Florida Panhandle. There was a freshwater spring where you could go for a swim but we were put off by the 'Do not feed the Aligators' sign. We arrived at N O in the early afternoon and checked into a great motel. One with a bit of character for a change. We were advised to avoid the tourist trap Bourbon Street and headed where the locals go. We had a nice meal then went into the smokey back room to hear a live freestyle jazz band. We have no idea if they were anygood but after a few shandy's we were groovin. In the morning we were rudely awoken by the torrential rain. The roads were already starting to flood and with last year in mind we did not fancy a week at the stadium. Thankfully we had the 4 x 4 and did one sharpish.
Before I go,I would like to give my side of things. I tried to hand the key to Steve but he was texting thats why I put it in the cup holder. I only put it there so I could change into my jeans. Anyway who asks you 'if you have the keys' as they are closing the locked door? Thats the end of the matter.
