Did we mention the next time I see mickey he will be on the wrong side of a right hook?, have we covered that already, fair enough.
But that didnt put us off dodgy american cheesy theme parks, so we picked up a hire car and drove over to the kennedy space centre.
Here they put you in a coach, drive you past all the exciting bits like the rocket launch, platform, the place where they build the shuttle, and the other good bits, and stop off at little theatres where you stand around in a dark room forced to watch a film on what NASA did when they were still useful and put someone on the moon. They are desperate for more support because everyone thinks they are a huge money pit wasting money...
It was after we left the NASA space centre that the real clever stuff started.
We stopped off at a pasta place to get some food, Sharon took the key to get something from the boot (it was her fault really) I was texting my mum (she was possibley also to blame) Sharon put the key in the cup holder, because of course thats were it belongs naturally, I should have known that, we both got out and I locked the door as I got out. I then looked in through the window at the shiny key on the inside, tried every door, Sharon and I blamed each other for a bit, then we went inside and phoned the rental company.
By the time we were finishing our pizza and pasta, a big walrus lookin fella had turned up from popalock, broke into the car with some bendy plastic ruler gadet with a string on the inside (go buy one kids) and we were back on the road with no delay or cost, this was a free service.
It was a Nissan Xterra driveaway that we picked up from a nervous and suspicious looking mexican in Fort Lauderdale, this thing was big and loved lots of petrol.
Sharon drove it quite a bit, we were both very calm as Sharon drove.
See you on the next page.
