After another night bus via Fortaleza (it has to be said that this was the worst one yet as almost all of the journey was across unmade roads which made sleeping or reading or anything impossible!) we arrived at the most remote of our stops so far! The final part of our journey was by a special overland bus as the regular bus would be unable to negotiate the sand dunes!
This was a beautiful fishing village which although has been commercialised still retains its charm as there are no roads and no hotels, just small pousadas run by the locals! Booked another buggy trip here to explore some of the lagoons.....
