Arrived in Pria De Pipa after another epic night bus via Olinda...this was a very remote coastal resort, so remote in fact that the only way to get here was by 4X4!! A very cool place to spend a couple of days just chilling out, though we took a beach buggy trip out for the day as there was so much to see along this coastline! It was fantastic just driving along the beach dodging the waves and stopping to see various lakes and fishing villages...also very very HOT! Managed to get very sunburnt despite liberal application of sunscreen :-(
In the resort itself, no air con in the pousada but fortunately a huge fan on the ceiling which served us well! Great food in the local restaurants, though some were pricey for Brazil we did find dinner in one place for only three dollars!!
We had a very close encouter with some dolphins in Dolphin Bay (no pics unfortunately- never have the camera when you most need it!!)...went out into the sea and the dolphins were chasing shoals of silver flying fish into the shore and jumping out of the water after them catching them in mid air!! It was a fantastic sight which will be hard to beat!!
