From the Paris of south America we travel across the border by ferry into Uraguay to the charming 17th century Portugese contraband port and fortress of Colonia just a 3 hour ferry ride across the Rio De La Plata from Buenos Aires....as we´re only here for one day the obvious way to see as much as we could in a day? Hire a scooter of course!!! Had a fantastic afternoon exploring the cobbles streets and hacking down the river front-very exhilarating!!
