Arrived in Santiago chiles capital today.... what a great City!! Very westernised but still unmistakable south american vibe. We were staying downtown and in the evenings travelled up to Bellavista to enjoy the nightlife! The bars and clubs didnt even start to get busy till 1pm so exhausted by the time we left not returning to the hotel till 5am!
Visited famous Chilean poet Pablo Nerudas eccentric house and made a trip to Valparaiso and the beach at Vina Del Mar... still seems wierd to be in the scorching heat on the beach here while the UK is in the grips of winter!!
