Peru..... hot hot hot!!

Arrived in Peru yesterday after a long 8 hour coach journey from Cuenca.... The border crossing was one of the most shambolic I´ve been across with everything on sale from monkeys to ice cream! Fortunately border was open after recent strikes so major problem was arranging transport from border to Mancora when we eventually found our driver who had disappeared to buy oranges!! Worth the trip and have spent a very lazy couple of days here sitting by the beach watching the surfers! Although plenty of fishing in the area, yet to track down a decent meal so hopefully put that right tonight before catching the 11pm night bus to Trujjalo further down the coast.....
Arrived in Trujjalo at 7 am before catching a cab further down the the coast to Huanchaco... nobody slept on the bus so back to bed to catch up on sleep!! Off to Lima on another night bus tomorrow......
