I arrived in London after a frustrating 13 hours flight to London via Zurich. The flight over was shithouse because my in flight entertainment never work for the entire flight. Swiss Air. More like SHIT AIR. All they could say to me was "Would you like some choclette?" Piss off. I want my movies! It has turned me off Switzerland!

Stace and I caught up with her Godfather, Wayne Monaghan. We arrived around 9am local time, although my body clock said something way out of synch. Wayne lives in Paddington, near just off Edgeware Road, right in the heart of London. We didn't have any time in London as bright and early (like 3am) the next morning we were off the see Will in Poland. The only thing we had time to do was visit the bank to set up an account so that all would be right for us when we returned from our Poland/Malta trip. It was the longest day of my life. 3pm felt like 10pm, and the daylight savings made it worse. It was good to catch up with Wayne who took us out for dinner to meet a Polish firend of his, Yvonne. We took what was my first ride on the tube ever and I should have been excited. However we entered through Edgeware Rd Station, at which point Wayne told us that this was where some of the London bombing in 2005 occurred. I then felt uneasy for the following hour.

I shouldn't have had the amount of beer that I did, I knew I would regret it. And I did. After about 5 hours sleep (I needed twice that), we got up for a cab then a train to the Stansted airport. I was a bit dehydrated when I woke up, and hence had a shocking 3:30am cab ride to Liverpool station in which I had a nice vomit out the door. All in all it was not a very pleasant start to Europe, I was tired and sick, but at least I now knew what jet lag felt like! Nonetheless I was excited about seeing Will for the first time in 9 months.
