I decide that I cant face the endless waiting at the hospital but do decide to go and see a different doctor in Phon Thong.  I am impressed at once by his English and examination and he prescribes Amoxicillin and a few other tablets.  Fingers crossed.
We go to the bank and deposit the wedding money then back to KHamnadie.
Quick stop at the village shop who are happy to buy back any boxes of beer left over from the party that havent been opened.
I retire to bedroom with my first dose of tablets.  Maybe as a result of taking the tablets or just psychological because I have them, but I think I feel a little better by evening.
We go to see some friends in a neighbouring village to negotiate a lift to the airport next Wednesday but the one has gone to Bangkok for a few days and the other is staying at their temple for a while.  We stop at our usual taxi drivers house on the way back and he agrees to take us for a reasonable price.
Go out into the garden and dig up all the carrots.  This is not a good area for root crops of any kind and although they wont win any prizes they are not a bad lot.
Pick some small and large toms as well.
