With all of the rain and the sun in between anything that I put in the garden at the moment seems to thrive.  Have to be careful that they do not get washed away when the rain is too strong though so it is still too early to plant out much.  Put some long beans in the ground about a weekago and when having a walk around the garden after breakfast this morning I counted 15 that had come through.  Have also planted out 25 chilli bushes from the seed that I have been 'nurturing' recently.
Whilst digging one patch of ther garden I snapped my best papaya tree in half and thought that I had probably lost it.  The chap next door tells us that occasionaly they will grow back again and more often than not when they do they produce two trunks and therefore more fruit later.  Will have to wait and see.
Now have tomatoes everywhere.
Fingers crossed now.
