As much as I love all the Thai/Laos food that we eat, rice does become a little monotonous so it always nice to have something different for a change. With the cake making in full swing I persuaded Jai to have a go at some small pasties. The results were pretty good and with a bit of salad and a few slices of bread made a pleasant change. I brought some gravy granules back with us last year and I tried to make some gravy from them to accompany the pasties. It was just about edible but have since ditched the remainder. Damp and a year old probably too much form them.
