So this week I got mail which is always very exciting. I'm now listening to a CD my friend sent me and the lyric " I shall miss this thing when it all rolls by... " (Dave Matthews band) was playing. I'm mixed up about coming home... on one hand, I really cant wait to get home and see my family, and my friends from home. And I mean that so much. I think about it a lot, and I'm going to be so excited when I get back on the plane for home. But leaving this place wont be easy either. I think the idea of leaving this year bothers me. It's been so incredible. Maybe there's a part of me that's worried nothing will match this. But I'm probably too young to be thinking like that, and I've felt like this before.. and it seems to me that it turns out that there are always wonderful experiences to be had wherever you are.

But anyways, yesterday I went to St Guilhem le Desert on the last group sponsored excursion. It was gorgeous, I love the little towns and the artisan shops. I took lots of pictures. We hiked up the mountain overlooking the town and it got me excited to get out exploring and hiking around Montpellier and hopefully around the states some more when I get back.

OH! I made my schedule for next year. By signing up for all the classes I need to take for the French major, to finish the core (Hummanities class) and the one elective I wanted (international politics) - I ended up with no classes on Monday, Wednesday or Friday. I am really excited to get some traveling in over those long weekends across the states. I dont even know what I'm going to do with all that time! I'm excited about it though. Before I left Geneseo, I needed something like that - I need breathing time, cooking and cleaning and laundry time , and social time. And before I left, I was doing a lot of things, but not a lot of breathing, eating, sleeping and what not. I'm looking forward to taking down the extracurriculars a notch (after learning that this year I could survive without them), and focusing on the things I need to do and figuring out the things I want to do. Now if only I had a car.. haha. I think I'm alright without one at school for the last year. Theres the free bus to Rochester, and theres always public transportation.

So today Linda came over and we tried to plan out some more spring break. If I havent told you already, the plan looks something like this:
April 11-15 - Amesterdam
April 15-24 - Swansea
April 24-26 - Cork
April 27-28 - Dublin

We havent made any hostel reservations yet, we're looking into Couch Surfers, and of course in Swansea I'll be staying with friends from last semester. I'm so looking forward to going back and catching up with friends and catching up on a few things I missed when I was there. I gotta get to the marina, and I wanna get a sweatshirt and I cant wait to show Mary Linda and Dana around the place !

So I'll upload some pictures for you now.
See you in 52 days.
