Hi again,
Cant actually remember what I wrote last but here we go......
I'm currently in an internet cafe in Xi'an, China which seems nice enough. We only got here this morning so hard to tell as yet. Still having a great time, Beijing was cool. We climbed two different sections of the wall which was hard work but worth it as the views were spectacular :)
We also went to the best bar in the world called Suzie Wongs - free cocktails for girls served by gorgeous waiters with roses!! Love it! Were with our new group now which is cool although I still miss our Vodkatrain friends. In Beijing we went to lots of shows and lots of markets (I surpassed my first effort at the night market of snake and silk-worm with a scorpion on my second visit!! TASTY!) Weve alson seen tons of temples and all the major sight-seeing hotspots like the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square. Glad to get away though just to breathe some fresh air, the smog in Beijing is unbelievable. Only downer is Carlien was ill for a few days so pretty much bed-ridden and now I've got it too. I'm dosed up on Chinese medicine though so it's all good (if a bit of a gamble seeing as I can't read the instructions, haha!)
Will try and add photos at nearest possible opportunity.
Oh, and well done girls for the Hyde Park run. I was there in spirit ;)
Lots of love xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
