Hello again!!

Tomorrow I am off on the Trans-Mongolian-Express (aka the vodkatrain) so I won't be online (or probably near a phone) for the next two weeks. If there is news, please text!! Me and Carlien met all our group yesterday and they are great so very very happy!! Our honcho is called Anastacia and she's amazing.....she's taken us to so many cool places already.

For those of you who are interested, this is the abridged version of the scary story from the other night:- Me and Carlien went out with some people who we met in the hostel and one of the boys borrowed a phone from a Russian man to call a lady-friend (and by this I mean prostitute). (I would quickly like to point out that me and Carlien had NO IDEA this was happening!!) Anyway, the Russian then demanded money and when he didnt have any it got a bit scary. He tried to grab me and eventually we managed to get away - we literally ran!! I thought we were going to get shot!!

Anyway, all good now!! We're still hanging out in Moscow, off to see Lenin tmro morning before we board the train which should be an experiance :)

Note for Hayley - today I ate CHICKEN HEARTS!!! Ha! Beat that sucker ;) They taste like sausage.....tasty!! Have also eaten lots of traditional Russian dishes, you would be very impressed. I dont think Carlien will let me go to Mickey Ds again, haha!! :(

Have been stopped by police now which is quite normal here - there are MILLIONS of them!! No problems as yet but we're waiting to get our visas registered and there's some sort of problem with our hostel so if they stop us again we will have to pay them a fine (which they basically make up on the spot). It's very strange here, you can do ANYTHING if you have the money.

Today we went to the vodka museum wich was lots of fun and we tried all different flavours, including the usual fruity ones and also honey, horse-radish and pepper!! The journey home was interesting.......

Better go now anyway as it's an early start tmro. Hope you're all good, missing everyone lots :)

Loads of love xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
