We were supposed to arrive in Bermuda at 6pm but didn't get there until 11pm because of motor problems and couldn't berth until daylight so we waited until morning. Got off the ship and caught a ferry to the capital (can't remember name) and walked around the shops. A very expensive place. Funny to see business men in Bermuda shorts with shirts and ties. It was very hot. We found a couple of bars to have a beer and get into the airconditioning but didn't manage to go to the beach which has pink sand apparently. Went back to the ship by ferry and it was good to get "home". Beautiful houses with white roofs and pastel coloured outsides, sometimes very bright colours as well. the waters are so clear even in the harbour where there are lots of boats and you would expect a bit of polution, there is none.
Left Bermuda at night and is was a pretty departure.
