The Hawk Mountain Hooligans made it to the Blueberry Patch!  It's an organic farm run by a former thru hiker and his wife, some of the nicest people I've ever met!  We hiked 3 long days to get here,  a 10 mile, 13 mile, and another 13 mile day!   So far I'm 67.5 miles up the trail. The weather has been cold up in the hills.  We've only had one day of sun so far, but our spirits are soaring.
I went to a Southern Baptist Revival last night- very cool.  They fed us corned beef and cabbage.  This is a St Patrick's Day I won't forget.  We're taking the day off today to heal up and rest.

Way to go Steve! Glad you're doing well and meeting some cool peeps!

BTW - Is corned beef and cabbage a good idea when you're out on the trail? Good thing you're taking a day off! :)

Looking forward to hearing from you again soon!
