Tristan drove me down to Washington DC for the day on one of his 30 hour layovers.  Washington is really pretty, lots of green space and monuments everywhere.  Visited the Smithsonian (Aviation and Space), the Mall, Capitol Hill, Jefferson and Roosevelt memorials, then hit Georgetown for dinner.  Back home tomorrow, which is good as I left the house a mess!


Flight loads are oversold for the UK on Tuesday, so I'll try, but may have to wait until Wednesday to head out as they are wide open from then on.   As long as I make it for Fri morning, I am good.  Will spend next week when I am done in Ireland (Mon?  Tues?) skulking around TO for a few days...Christie, call me!
