Finally arriving at 9:30 in the morning, we didn't really sleep because of the difficult position in the bus and especially because of the freezing cold of the airco that has been blowing all night even when they give you a small blanket !!
Anyway, happy to arrive at our hotel after a minibus brought us from the bus stop. We checked in and went to the long and beautiful beach for a walk and a swim. The rocks and mountains in this surrounding are beautiful, we know this from Koh Phi Phi but it's slightly different again. We had a kind of brunch and stayed on the beach to relax as we were kinda dead ! Than we walked further on a discovered by taking a little path and wooden steps going up and than down another beach even more beautiful. Half way we found out that we were not the only ones using this path, a big family of monkeys passed us by as if it was their private property. Really impressive, later on I could make some pictures of them on the beach but on that moment on the stairs they were so near that I didn't want to take the risk that they would try to steal the camera or Iphone.
After a couple of hours we started going back,
found the monkeys on the other side and had a closer look at the village with all it's fun shops.
Meanwhile we asked around how to get to the other beaches as some of them have to access road. We decided as well that we would stay for 4 days and than go to Koh Lanta, so we could meet Michel and Nacir there.
We went back to the hotel, had a shower and went for a early dinner as we hoped that we would be able to have an early night.

In the morning we had a little bit of rain, but it stopped quick and we decided to take the long tail boat to Phra Nang beach. Really beautiful beach! The rock formations here are sublime! We took many photos. There were many people climbing the rocks. Some people were doing impressive things on the rocks. We left Phra Nang and went walking to Raily East and Raily West beach. Again gorgeous beaches! After Raily we went again by foot to Tong Sai beach. It is a kind of hippie village and the beach is also so cute. It is a smaller beach and we like that most. We took the long tail boat back to Ao Nang beach. It was a great day and we saw so many beautiful beaches. Everyone should see these beaches! We are now relaxing and we will have dinner soon.

After not a lot of sleep, people partying outside (glad we get a bungalow at the back now), the weather didn't look to promising. In fact until around 3 in the afternoon it didn't stop dripping and raining. I suppose we can't really complain, but we are spoiled I know ! Anyway while Oscars were going on this night I managed to download the winner "Argo" during the night and so we watched this in our room on the net book. After that it had stopped raining and we went for a long walk on the beach where the tide was extremely low and pretty impressive.
After that it was quickly stated to get dark and it was almost time to get ready for dinner so we did ! I sent a Skype message to Alberto and a mail to Paolo with a picture of Andrea with little Georgio.

We took it easy today, we had planned to take a boat and go to James Bond Island but around 8 it didn't seem that the weather would be good enough. Around 11 this changed though and we went to Ao Nang beach until around 3 PM when it suddenly started to rain again for about an hour. Therefore we went for a coffee and slowly went back to the hotel to start preparing for our move to Koh Lanta tomorrow.
In the evening the weather was really nice again so we walked back to the village and had a drink there until we went back and to bed.

Today we got picked up at around 10 and after a few changes of mini bus we were on our way to the ferry, this would take 4 hours to get to our hotel.
