3 more sleeps to go and it will be good bye Morocco. After another nice breakfast on the roof we walked up to Moulay Hassan Square but there are still royal guards standing around so you are not allowed to take photos. It must be their red outfits that are secret. Anyhow from there we went on to the Mellah (Jewish quarters). They have their own market there, but it's not as intensive as in the Medina. Hardly anyone bothers you. The construction of the buildings is quite different from the Medina too. A lot of the houses have balconies and shutters. From the Mellah we went to  the Jnan Sbil Gardens where we sat down for a while and enjoyed the sunshine while we can. We heard Europe is still very cold. After a rest we headed back into the Medina to visit the Fondouk Nejjarine museum. The exhibits in the museum are a bit average but the building is outstanding with all the woodwork. That's us again for an other day. Now we are trudging back up the hill towards Dar Mehdi were we stay, and we never even got lost.
2 more sleeps to go. Gone for another walk for a couple of hours and didn't get lost. It's getting scary.
Having a bit of a siesta before we go to the Clock café where they have a local band playing tonight. Instead of having dinner at Dar Mehdi we will eat at the café. The band consisted of 4 women playing cymbals, bongos and drums whilst singing. The Clock café seemed to be very trendy, a lot of tourists with their laptops and local yuppies. Obviously the whole place was renovated by a interior decorator or someone that knew what they were doing. The food too was very nice. No alcohol though! Fran ended up drinking (Wait for it!) A glass of hot almond milk.
Last day in Morocco! Just strolling around enjoying the sun whilst we can. Went to the park, but would you believe it? Closed on a Monday! So we walked through the Medina for a couple of K's and spotted another sign for a park. Why not, we followed sign after sign, uphill, downhill a few K's later we arrived at the park that's closed on a Monday! The good thing was we walked through parts of Fes that we hadn't visited before.
