We wanted to go to the new Art Gallery of Ontario. It has expanded and now it is gigantic. I think it's better organized than the National Gallery, but the price is not as friendly ($18). There wasn't anything spectacular in the temporary exhibits, but the rest of the gallery was pretty awesome.

The Canadian galleries are organized by artist, I really like that. One artist per room. It just makes so much sense. Why doesn't the NGC do that? I will never know. The very top floor had a really cool contemporary exhibit, showcasing the past winners of the Grange Prize.

After about four hours of meandering we were hungry for some Chinatown grub. Two blocks away, is Spadina and you can find all kinds of awesome places to eat. We however, did not. I wish I could tell you the name of this terrible place, but I can't. It starts with an F and it's on Dundas St. W. There are dead and barbecued chickens hanging in the front window, you can't miss it. Hahaha. The chicken was flavoured weirdly, the "vegetable and shrimp" dish was carrots, celery, shrimp, cashews...that's it... the pork fried rice...that was most of what I ate. They also don't have a debit card machine, so we literally had to empty our our wallets to pay. They didn't get a tip.

On the way back, Keith spotted Lake Ontario, so we had to make a detour to go and see it. That we did. We drove through Newcastle and then finally in Grafton we found a nice pebbly spot. Keith skipped some rocks and I went back in the car, it was cold.

By the time we got home it must've been midnight. Another successful weekend roadtrip.
