We did not have a road map and as usual i left luck rather than judgement to guide us. we seemed to be lost on a very nice new build private estate so we parked up, knocked on someones door and asked for the street name...he said... 'your on it! what no. do you need?...and then it turned out to be yards from where we just parked up. great place, better than a hotel stay, amazing facilities....swiming pool, jakuzzi, 10 pounds a night each!! it would be a luxury holiday stay here. this was a great find and we are staying for a while longer here.
m: not being a fan of theme parks i have to say the islands of adventure are fantastic. the individual islands are stunning, every detail concievable. jurassic park ride was a movie set, just incredible
had myself a major water fight as seen......it was like 'platoon' but with water. i stayed to the end but was heavily out-numbered
Em: Not all girls! - as this one had a cowering Matt swearing and huddled against her in Jurrasic park - the ride photograph proved that! Orlando is lots of fun - promised oursleves to do one 'theme park' so chose Universal. Part two at the studios is next week (yes, another good deal we found for tickets!). I'm enjoying the luxury of the pool and jacuzzi. It's such a swish estate. Heading off to see 'Batman' tonight, released today. Have pre-booked to see it in a village called 'Celebration'. Imagine the 'Truman Show' for real. Pic of cinema attached.
Looking forward to my 30th Birthday next week (Thur 24th - no pressure bloggers but I'm holding out for messages!!), We'll still be in Orlando and I probably mention it at least 5 times a day! I'm such an excitable child!!
Just to balance the culture level - we also had a great day at the Science Centre - wonderful Titanic exhibition.
Received ticket/character of a person who actually travelled and at the end we found out that we both survived - amazing.
Love to all xx
