Last Sunday we watched the Man Utd Vs Liverpool and Chelsea Vs Arsenal matches on the big screen with a couple we met from Galway. They were both Liverpool fans so Karl thought it was great rubbing it in. They were coming to the end of their 2 year world tour. They did nearly the same trip as us but started in South America. They told us a lot about the different places we will be going to.
On Monday morning we drove to Fort Aguada and Sinquerim beach. We took some photos from the fort but the views were not as good as Chapora fort. It rained for most of the afternoon so we just sat on the balcony relaxing. Then we went for dinner with a different couple from Galway who moved into the room next door to us.
Went to the dentist on Tuesday and got my permament veneers. in the afternoon we went to the beach but the waves were huge and really strong so we didn't stay in for long. We watched the susnset and then went to watch a film in one of the pubs but it was cancelled because the power went.
Went back to the dentist on Wednesday for the last time. After we went to the beach to watch our last Goan sunset.
We decided to treat ourselves to a nice dinner in a fancy restaurant since it was our last night. had lovely fish and Karl had steak. It was by far the nicest dinner we have had in India and the total cost was only 900 rupees (15 Euro) including wine, starter, desert and tip.
It was a great way to finish our 2 weeks in Anjuna ahead of our 11 hour train journey to Mumbai.
PS - Check out the vidoes of the man collecting coconuts, he climbs those trees like a monkey!
