After cleaning up, we decided on the order of go for the evening. We would check out the casino, get some dinner, then gamble a little bit.

With some difficulty, we got into the casino. Apparently thong sandals (known as "slippas" in the Pacific) are not acceptable attire in the casino even though they are fine in the hotel lobby and all the restaurants. They made a one-time dispensation when I told them that it was my first time there and that the slippas were my only footwear in Tinian. Even so, I was approached two other times by security guards enforcing the dress code.

The casino was pretty quiet. I hope, given the size of the place, that it's much busier at times. This definitely wasn't one of those times. They had only a dozen or so gaming tables open.

We went to a nice Japanese restaurant for dinner. Suka had a delicious grilled eel on rice dish. I had a large, very fish-oriented Bento box combination that was very good.

After dinner, we decided that we didn't need to give the casino our money. We turned in so we could be rested for the early flight back the next morning.

Other than the plane being slightly late and the pilot being a guy who looked more like you would expect your pilot to look, the flight back to Saipan wasn't noteworthy. We got Suka to work just in time.
