Koh Phi Phi and 'The Beach'

We're now in Koh Phi Phi, an island on the tip of Thailand. It's really nice here, it's sunny and really hot, and it has like turquise water and white sand beaches. The first day we were here we pretty much rented a place (a bungalow, which is pretty much a wooden shack with a matress on the floor.) I twas disgusting and there were cochroaches involved. Gross. But hey sometimes over here you have to stay in gross places like that so it wasn't TOoO bad. Night 1 we pretty much each had a bucket (LOTS of booze with pop or juice in literally a bucket) and then realized we wer ebored and went to bed by 10:30. Very exciting.
Yesterda ( Day 2) We went to Ko Phi Phi Lay which is where the movie 'The Beach' was filmed. On our way we all jumped into the ocean off the ferry and went snorkelling which was pretty cool, lots of crazy fish and coral reefs and stuff. Once we got there, we set up camp, as its a camping trip over night. This place literally IS paradise. It's got the clearest, most turquise water EVER and the nicest beach I've ever seen, all in this secluded little groove in the island so you wouldn't evenn know it's there if you were just boating by. Sooo cool. We had thai food for supper (surprise), and then we went kayaking and then pretty much drank buckets and chilled out all night. We made a couple friends from BC...One was pretty chachy but teh other one was really nice. Anyway we slept in this like, 1 person tent, even if they DID say it was 2 persn but it wasn't at all. It was really ...Squishy. But aside fro that it was AWESOME. Now we're back on Koh Phi Phi Don, and just moved into a nicer hotel. I'm sick as hell (I think fro my malaria pills) and I'll probably sleep all day.
