3 hours for 100 kilometers on a gravel road, crossing rivers and very narrow mountain ways. We arrived there late at night and we spent the night in a filthy guesthouse opposite to the bus station. It was awful but it was what we found.
Almost every stores and restaurants were closed, so it wasn’t easy to found somewhere to eat. We finally found a place where there was a giant screen where they played martial art movies while people have their fried chicken. It was okay for that moment.
So I said goodbye. Everyone said some farewell words to me and I went away.
But the question then was: what would I do? Should I go back to Buenos Aires? Should I look for something to do cheaper than Uyuni near Tupiza? I had never even seen a map from Bolivia for ages, so I went to the bus station and started watching it.
I saw Potosí wasn’t too far and I remembered the girl in Bolivian Embassy in Buenos Aires telling me that it was very nice, so I decided to go there.
