We had one last day in KK, it was a Sunday so Beccy took us out on her boat with her friends and we had a wonderful day crusing round the islands of Tunku Abdul Rahman National Park just outside KK. We went swimming and drank lots of beer and in the evening we went to a crab restaurant where we had delicious crab and prawns and more beer! the next day we had to say goodbye and fly to Miri. we'd origionally to travel overland through Brunei (quick geography bit for Lorna and those from Mrs Lloyds geography class: Malaysian Borneo is split into 2 states, Sabah and Sarawak, to get from Sabah to Sarawak overland you have to go through Brunei which is a seperate country). We'd heard from a few people that Brunei is v expensive and ordinary, not a good combo so we decided to fly over it since its cheaper.
