Well our day in Manila was as depressing as can be expected. To make things worse it was a Sunday so the 1 thing we wanted to see was shut and a couple of places around manila we might have gone to would have been overun by people so we decided to hang out in Makarti which is basically a collection of huge shopping malls. I treated myself to a new book, we relaxed on the sofas, had a decent cup of coffee and even a bag of chocolate covered raisins from Marks and Spencer! However it was a long boring day and we started to feel like we were in a shopping mall version of "The Terminal"!
