Last time I emailed was from Bohol when we found out that our 2pm boat was cancelled and we had anotherboat to get at 6pm from Cebu, we decided in the end to get the next boat to Cebu which arrived at 6pm and hope to still make the connection. As you can guess the 6pm boat was the only ferry in the history of the Phillipines to leave on time and we didn't arrive til 6.15. We went to find another company that had a ferry leaving the next day according to their website, but it doesn't go any more, just as we started to tear our hair out a man came and told us we could get a ferry at 7pm to a town an hour away from the one we wanted to get to, we raced to have a look at the ferry, it looked quite new so we bought a ticket and climbed aboard. It was a basic affair, the only class was cattle class but it was half empty so it wasn't too bad and we were so tired we went straight to sleep. The next day we arrived at 6am and then had to get a mini van to the town of Masbate, from masbate another 2hr ferry to Pilar, from Pilar a 1hr jeepney to Donsol.
