On boxing day we flew to Alice Springs, yuk! It was the most depressing place I've ever been. It was prob worse than usual cos it was boxing day and everything was closed. There are a lot iof Aborigional people there sitting around in parks drinking which is really sad to see. I even saw an american tourist stop to buy a painting off one guy, its bizzare to think she would hang this "traditional aborigional art' on her wall and tell her frinds how cultured shje is blah blah blah but I wonder if she'd tell them she bought it from a guy wearing a nike T shirt and drinking from a bottle of cheap whisky! After a couple of hours wandering around depressing ourselves we went to the pub, alice seems to have that effect on people!
