Golubnec to Donji Milanovac
Distance 50km Best bit: Castles for breakfast Worst bit: running over a lizard This was a fun town to be in. The lady at the tourist information was fantastic in finding me somewhere to stay, with a lady called Angelika who too was lovely. I sat in the garden sipping some green alcholic liquid which burned the insides, while a local girl (Melissa) kindly did a bit of translation. In the evening I caught up with Dusha (a Professor from Cambridge) and his team who were doing a dig at the Lepenski Vir site. I left with my panniers bulging wtih mountain bike maps that the tourist information people had given me and lots of good memories (but fortunately not too much of a hangover!)
