So we made the 8 hour flight from ORD to LON without incident. The takeoff was perhaps one of the most interesting I've ever experienced, with the 747 climbing gingerly away from O'hare while odd oscillations slowly damped out within the fuselage. Sleeping was a little difficult thanks to extra-hard seats, but the empty flight was nice. We ate twice, and the curry rice was pretty good.

Once in London, we navigated the tube system like pros. We picked up 3 Oyster cards and charged them up with a day's worth of travel money. Then we found our way from Heathrow in zone 6, to our two transfers in zone 1, then back out to Kensal Green and Hostel 639.

Now we're wandering about, checking out the Grand Canal, looking for inexpensive Pakistani food, and updating our travel blog from a Pakistani cafe. Hope you like the pictures.
