We spent four days in Stockholm, Sweden. It looks very different from Copenhagen more medieval. The highlight of the trip was the Vassa Museum where the 16th century war ship "Vassa" has been preserved. The entire ship exists!

Stockholm has the reputation of being the "Venice of the North." My trip here did little to disprove this title. Stockholm has a very close relationship with the sea. On the last day we headed out to the Archepelgo's capital of Vaxholm. This area is absolutely breath taking and a must see to anyone traveling in the area.

The Nobel Museum is also worth a visit with pieces of equipment from almost all of the Nobel winners. It has an especially interesting hands-on area suitable for children...and college students! :)
