Wow, Sunday. Well, I wasn't able to find a church to go to. There are many churches here in Leon but every single one is Catholic. There is not a single Baptist or Methodist or AG church in the city! Well, instead of going to church I took some time to read my Bible. I decided that since I had the time I would go ahead and take a hour to do devotions instead of just my normal 15 or 20 minutes. I took the time to go through James chapter 3 (the chapter that I have been reading this week) and dissect it verse by verse. It is amazing how much more you find when you slow down and really think about each and every verse! I wrote two whole pages on just one chapter, plus a whole page about the book itself (like the author and time period and stuff). After that I listened to some worship music, but I couldn't sing very loud because my roommate was still sleeping, and had a time of prayer. It was really refreshing. After "church" my roommate finally woke up and we talked for a little bit and had lunch then we decided to try to go to the supermarket to buy some food that we still needed because we are supposed to get some freezing rain tonight and it will be pretty cold tomorrow and neither of us brought much for winter so we won't want to go out at all tomorrow. When we went out, though, we found that all of Spain shuts down on Sundays. Nothing was open. She said that in Chile stores and stuff are usually open they just might have shorter hours or something. So then we went back to our apartment empty-handed and that about ends our day.
