It is finally Saturday!!! I got to sleep in until 11:00! I have been on the computer all day trying to finish my TWS and do everything else. I am so glad I am finally finished with that horrible thing! It is so long and takes forever! But I did it, I finished it finally. Now all I have to do is set up my travelogue and maybe start on my second reading and, if I can, start on my comparison of the school systems that I have to do for my class. Cecy and I were planning on going to Ponferrada and Avila today but that never happened because I had to finish that stupid TWS. Well, now it is finished and maybe we can go tomorrow. I went online and tried to find churches in Leon but all I could find was Catholic churches. I guess I won't be able to go to church while I am here, but I can still have my own Bible study time and maybe I can get a copy of Pastor Phil's messages from someone (or notes at least). Well, it seems like this is all I am going to be doing today, just sitting at my computer typing and organizing and catching up on everything I need to do. I got so sick of it for awhile that I started cleaning the apartment (except that we have only been here for a week so there was nothing really to clean). I dried all the dished and put them away, washed all the counters and tables, swept the floor (I would have mopped it but the mop doesn't have a mop head!) and I even washed my windows. I called mom last night (at midnight) and talked to her for a little bit. Skype is wonderful!!! I love it. Of course midnight here is 5:00 there and dad wasn't home to talk to. I guess I will call him on Monday at 5:30 (which will be 11:30 there). It is easier for me to call dad because I can call him at work which is a decent time for both of us but mom isn't allowed to have Skype on her computer at work so I can't call her. Well, I guess I will just call her every Friday at midnight instead. Ok, right now I am freezing because we still don't have heat and it is still a little cold, especially at night. It is supposed to get up to 70 later this week but then it is supposed to rain and get cold again, maybe even with freezing rain! Well, I hope that will be the last of the cold weather then because without heat my room is FREEZING and I didn't bring any heavy coats or anything.

I had the same problem with churches when I was in California so I just went to the Catholic church. It wasn't that bad..in fact, it was kind of interesting except for that part where I felt like a huge sinner cause I wasn't allowed to take communion, but it's just a thought. God is in Catholic churches too, you know..

I had the same thought -- just go to the Catholic church. It is still Church and it would be interesting to see how others worship. Maybe your roommate would go with you.

Leon's weather
I dond want to discourage you about the weather, but in Leon I have seen snow even in May, so the hot can still be a little far away.
