From Santa Barbara we took a slow drive through Malibu, past Zuma beach too the Andersons. Theresa and the family were preparing for Christmas Eve, with a few friends coming over.
The next morning wasn't that early (as we were expecting). The adults were waiting for Dylan and Olivia to wake us up, which happened at about 8. Dylan was so happy to see Santa got him a Vespa (small scooter),
and the kids were so excited with all the pressy's under the tree. Steven and I also got Christmas Stockings filled with goodies from Santa. After the excitement of Christmas we had breakfast, and took it easy. We then went over to the Rowland's for Christmas lunch. They are very good friends of the Andersons. But unfortunately we were a little late, and Julie also forgot to put the turkey in on time, which meant the late lunch was more an early dinner - which was fine. There was more gift exchanges (just didn't seem to end - but we're not complaining :o) )

It was very festive with 4 different families visiting, and exchanging secret Santa's. Olivia also organised for everyone to sing 12 days of Christmas, with certain people singing certain parts. The song went kinda well, with some hiccups, but it was great fun, with much laughter. Colin Organising
