On our second and last day in London we rode around on the Big Bus again. We got off after a while and started looking for the Harry Potter walking tour
. We forgot how to find it, so we went into some shops and asked if they knew where it was. The funny thing is that no one we asked even knew what Harry Potter was! We didn't find it. After a while of looking, we just hopped back on to the Big Bus and rode to the Tower of London. The Tower of London sure did have a lot of history! It was terrible how they tortured people there. When they cut off people's heads, they would stick the head up on spikes to scare people. After we were done with the Tower of London, we went on a boat ride down the Thames. The two days were definitely not relaxing like Boston, but it was still fun, and that's what counts!

First thing I have to say: London is busy, busy busy! There are shops, cars, and crowds of people everywhere you look. We were packed in the underground subway like sardines in a can. Jess had to duck her head to avoid being closed on by the door! Even with all the ruckus, people from London are very nice and polite. I just love their accent, too! It makes them sound so elegant and sophisticated. There are so many places in London to go to. On both days we were in London it was cold and gray and drizzley, but that didn't dampen our good spirits! We first went on the Big Bus, and passed a lot of places, including Big Ben and Westminster Abbey. Then we got off and went to the London Eye. It was huge! When we got to the top, we could see everything! I got a lot of good pictures and videos there. After that we just went back to the hotel, and swam in the pool before going to bed.
