So while sitting in the tent in New Mexico, freezing to say the least, and remembering the fact that we never exactly finalized plans to sleep on anyones floor, couch or anywhere really in Colorado where we planned to travel the next day, Caitlin made herself useful by chatting on Facebook. As per usual, we all put half an effort into finding an accomodation, and eventually got distracted, but this time it actually paid off.

Caitlin had told us about Molly off and on ever since she graduated Proctor and parted ways with her loving roommate, and happened to be chatting with her. Molly informed us that she was going to school in Durango, eight hours away and a short hop from the Four Corners, one of our many designated stops on our trip. Molly demanded that we stop at her school for a reunion, and with no feeling in our toes anymore and the opportunity to sleep in a bed and not gravel for a night, we agreed, and witnessed Caitlin's earth shattering expressions of complete joy until and through our stay in Molly's Cooper Hall dormitory.

Up and out of New Mexico at a record time, we headed right out onto the same desolate and windy roads with Caitlin behind the wheel, basically screaming with excitement. After hours of beautiful mountains, REALLY windy roads and a magical car performance of "It's Raining Men", we arrived. To the wrong parking lot. Several times. And then Molly remembered how to give directions and we made it.

We fell out of the car, met some crazy looking tie-dye wearing guys name Graham and Will, who we later learned are Molly's boyfriend and his friend, and then the crazy Molly we had heard ALLLL about on the ride up.

The first night more or less consisted of us getting to know the very laid-back lifestyles of crazy-haird Will, Graham, who simply chooses to listen to disturbingly loud reggae opposed to go to class and Molly, who accompanies Will in avoiding school-work in every human way possible.

I fell asleep early in Molly's roommates bed with Jen, while Caitlin stayed up late into the night reminscing about Proctor for hours. In the morning Molly decided to "drive" (or basically scream and wave at every single person she thought she knew) us to a bagel shop where we indulged in various forms of bagel/creamcheese goodness and Jen accidentally ordered an Asiago bagel, and therefore felt sick for the entire rest of the day. We ventured to a healthfood co-op and splurged on "healthy" ramen, even though I wanted basically EVERYTHING.

We realized Molly was late to class, dropped her off and spent our time waiting for her by attempting frisbee, a sport that has not been visited by us in centuries. As Jen unsuccessfully lunged her entire being after every toss and missed, Caitlin and I gracefully improved and laughed hysterically at the spectical we had created in the campus field. (Caitlin and Jen witnessed me run for the first time as well, and were shocked). Molly got out of class just in time to prove her frisbee skills to be even WORSE than Jens, and soon we decided to move on with our day. We then visited her crazy hippy friends in a house that looked like a bomb had exploded in and smelled like stale beer, went to another store and got ALLLLLLL the fixings for an amazing salad and my soon-to-be AWARD WINNING guacamole. After inhaling the guac, we combined spinach, almonds (hand-picked from Molly's roommate trail mix and mashed for taste), onion (our leftover), goat cheese (not Jen), tomato and salmon burger, which according to Molly had to be consumed that very moment or it would go bad. It was another gourmet success on our part and will soon be added to our "Blissful Bingeing on a Budget" cookbook. They don't know that I titled it yet.

As Jen boringly decided to sleep again, despite our warnings that we were going to kick her out of the bed later, we returned to attempt more frisbee. After showering and changing, we hit the field with Graham and Will, I face planted (or actually ass/knee-planted) within two minutes, obviously, and we screamed and fumbled around the field for about an hour in the dark before we realized it was probably time for a dance party, which took place in Will's room for another 3 hours.

The next day we dedicated our entire day to sitting around Molly's dorm and eventually graduating to debating which pizza place we wanted to get take-out from, and then settled on venturing out to get pizza, as an "activity" for the day.

We decided to go to J. Bo's, and realized how ridiculously expensive it was the second we walked in. All in all, we managed to leave with about 25 packets of parmesan cheese, 3 sets of steak knifes&forks (washing plastic is getting old and gross), $35 dollars less than we walked in with, and still-hungry stomachs.

We immediatley located food carts upon our return, and got to work on chocolate chip cookies, odwalla and yogurt pretzels. That more or less did us in and Caitlin and I spooned the night through while Jen slept on the floor/bed we made her and we soon enough ventured out of beautiful Colorado and towards our next destination that had been decided the night before: Thayers house in Sandy, Utah.
