so the Drive from Ocean City to Greenville was going pretty A OKAY, other than the few sketcky little side roads that Karen (The other voice on GPS) had taken us down, the immediate stops for us to fuel up on food and the car to fill up with gas. All was going swell....until we hit Kitty Hawk....Kitty Hawk, Kitty Hawk, Kitty Hawk, site of the Wright brother's first flight that made history, the town infact showed little signs of being "historic" but will deffinately never be forgotten in our minds. For one thing we could not find the feild or any Wright Brother museums and KAREN...(that whore)...sure as heck wasn't helping us this time either, secondly the people in the town were clearly wack jobs and parsh drunks from the looks of it.

When we first got to Kitty Hawk we typed in the address to one of the "museums" really didn't get us too far until we noticed we were following a beat up car with a license plate that read TRUMPETS. Of course we just had had to get a picture of TRUMPETS because honestly who has a license plate that reads that? Cait was swiftly riding the other cars bumper in hope to get the perfect picture to show all of you, I (Jen) was on camera duty and the pictues wern't coming out right. I would take one, blury...I would take another, blury....this scenario went on for about 15 minutes while we manuvered down a sketchy windy road, until appearantly TRUMPETS got scared and pulled off, we're guessing due to the flash of lights that were frequently coming from the bellows of our car in hope to get the picture. Anyways this put us far off track so we decided to turn around and retrace our mess up. It wasn't very hard to get back to point A and we made finally made it back to the 7/11 we had started from. We decided to splurge and go get coffee and change up drivers for the next few hours...

The drive down to Greenville wasn't that bad after our incident, it went quite smoothly actually...until we hit Greenville and couldn't find the Days Inn, but a little friend I like to call McDonalds helped us out in that department and sent us a block down the road to our final destination. When and doubt, fast food it out. Checking in was breeze...we got a room with a king size bed which all three of us crashed in...not too shabby for $40 a night. We crept into bed and put on the new season of Lost and fell right to sleep, well most of us. In the morning there was continental breakfast, which made our day and of course like any poor, starving travelers would do, we took some extras with us....we stole some oatmeal packets, some doughnuts, and a little Sunny D...not anything the hotel would really miss I'm sure. Then we were off ,making check out time with seconds to spare....
