The Cathedral was very strange, with a new Gothic style Cathedral, built onto the side of the smaller romanic style Cathedral. The stylings on the outside were quite beautiful and very difficult to capture in photos. We were allowed to go up into the Cloisters of the Cathedral, walk along passageways on the outside and all in a all just have a competeley different experience of the Cathedral than when you just enter the main hall. Salamanca is probably worth visitng just for that!
Salamanca was the coldest place we've been to in Spain so far though. We had to switch to our warmer jackets and sought out the sun during the day like cats. :) It's a very nice place to visit though: pretty and peaceful.
We are now (30/10/2011) back in Madrid. We catch a flight to Marrakesh tomorrow. See you then!
