As you walk down the main plaza in the centre of the tourist district off to the side they have set up a love wall where you write your names on paper and stick it on the wall and your wishes come true – ok so where are you Angelina? (nah, only kidding) They have a house like Romeo and Juliet which for an entry price you can enter and stand on the balcony
The old amphitheatre – 1st Century that seats 20 000 people and is still used for Verona’s summer opera house. It was getting set up with props and lights as we walked past. How would it be to watch and hear opera in there!
It has old churches and a waterway which runs through the city with old bridges. We spent two hours there and they were jam packed. Could've spent much more - but alas the call of Venice enticed us on.
