Just here for a day, but did an amazing hike up the hill behind my guesthouse to reveal an amazing panaroama of the surrounding Himalayas. Met and had lunch with a fascinating guy (maybe German). I think his name was JT. He had purchased a motorcycle in Europe and traveled from there through the Middle East down into India then over to SE Asia and even across the sea to Indonesia and then back again. He had come back to Manali to live and work as a tatoo artist.
There was a fair going on as well that I enjoyed.
