I have finally made it to Mycenae!  The museum was excellent and then Athena and I explored the site seeing Grave Circle A and we ascended to the acropolis.  Afterwards, we went to the treasury of Atreus, the tholos tomb, whıch is an amazing architectual achievement. 

Later in the day, we returned to Nafplio and clımbed the 999 stairs (well, there are not that many but they try to claim that there are 999 stairs) to Akronafplio for some amazing views of the town and the surrounding landscape. 

After that extrenous workout, we descended and swam in the sea.

Soon Athena and I will go our seperate ways as she is going to London and I will be goıng to the Caucasus.
