This morning I received an email from the regional chairman of Korean American Scholarship Foundation (KASF) saying that I won the scholarship!  Hey, hey hey- free money!  Yay!

See?  I have my stuff together.  My dad for some reason makes it seem like I am just playing around and not doing well in school.   He makes unnecessary and backward comments about grades EVERY time I talk to him.  Let's look at the facts: I generally do very well in school, I am in one of the world's most fascintating cities, I have made great friends, AND I just won an awesome scholarship.  I think it would be very greedy, sad, and anal-retentive of me to let the difference between an A and A- trump all those things.  Whatever, I just got a load of free money, and it's the weekend!  I am out of here!
