We arrived in Prague and "czeched" into our little apartment type home
for the next few days....relaxed and caught up on some much needed

We headed out to see some of the Prague city sights...we
"czeched" out the Prague Castle & The Charle's Bridge. This bridge
is lined with beautiful statues and one is of a man who was tortured
and thrown off the bridge by the King back in the 1300's. If you rub
the statue it is supposed to bring you good luck...however the statue
was on a part of the bridge that was under needless
to say we didnt rub it...pfft luck who needs it
We did a guided tour of the Old Jewish Ghetto...learned some really interesting history on the religion and life in Prague. Quick summary: in the 1200's the Jewish people were literally confined behind a physical wall in a part of Prague. We saw this area of the city...however there is no wall anymore. We saw Jewish Synagogues, as well as the Jewish cemetery with 12 000 tombstones ..but there were many MORE people buried there...some plots have 12 people buried- stacked on top of each other!! (cuz they were not allowed to bury their deceased outside of the walled in area)
On a lighter note we "czeched" out some black light theatre which is very popular in was not very popular with us. I don't  foresee a black light theatre career for Sare!!!
