Part of today's entry is by Andrew Uy
" Today we had breakfast with our homestays. After we had breakfast, we went sightseeing. First we went to the top of Mt Eden. Mt Eden is actually a big volcano. THen we went to the harbor to see ships for the world cup. Then we went to go for lunch near the Auckland Coastline. Following, we went to a wave pool. Everyone enjoyed the slide. The tallest building in Auckland was the sky tower. You could even bungy jump from the top" ~Andrew Uy
Samare here:I just wanted everyone to know that the kids are doing really well. EVERYONE is really happy to be here. Today was a bit cold.....9 C or 48 F. That was apparently really cold for Auckland,One interesting thing about the water park went too...it's inside, and has warm water. The adults spent some time in the hot tob, and ALL the boys went on the indoor waterslide several times. Mrs. Torrey, Tim Silva, Kevin Young and myself are staying in a bed an breakfast, and our host took us up to Mt. Victoria. This had to be the most beautiful view thus far...although we here Rotorura and Wellington are even more beautiful! One interesting thing to note....we're all determined to have New Zealand accents by the time we return:-)
P.S. parents you'll love this. We have to wear our seatbelts on the bus...it's the law!!!

Hello to everyone!
It sounds like you are all having fun in New Zealand. What a great experience! Can't wait to read your next entry into your Travel Diary.

For the past two days the temperture in Hayward almost reached 90 degrees, but today the fog is back. Thank goodness.

Enjoy your stay--this is a wonderful opportunity. Say 'hi' to Steve and everyone for me.

Congratulations to the boys
I am so proud the choir that my son and daughter grew up with continues to be a world class organization. To have my daughter still with the group makes it double special . I hope you are all having a great time and a special thanks to Steve Meyer for having the stamina to continue this great and important work!........Rufus Olivier

Bonjour mon bebe! Comment ca va? It sound like you're having a fantastic time there, so with the rest of the boys. Well, enjoy every single day of your tour and remember to write something on your journal each day. Don't forget your good mannners and right conduct and ask for the addresses of your homestay families. Take some pictures with them and don't forget to say 'Thank You' for their hospitality. Fait attention tout les temps! Hugs and kisses to you. Je t'aime...- Mama

Hi Anthony!

It sure was fun to see pictures today on the website! Everyone is so excited about your travels and the experiences you are having each day. Enjoy!! Dad and I did a Team-in-Training run this morning, Saturday, in Golden Gate Park. We did great! And it was fun. Just like old times. I can't convince him to join the team but it was fun. Jack & Nat say hello! Thank your Host Families again for us! And say Hi to everyone! Love and a big hug - Mom and Dad
